The one thing I simply can’t stand is someone who will not shut up.
I have had people come into my home under the pretense of doing work or a service, plus they try to sell me on something.
When I call any kind of repairman, I just want the service finished. I never want them to haggle with me about how I need replacements, or even replace the item when they have already made the repair. The man who repaired my old refrigerator was adamant about my buying a modern refrigerator, plus he just came right out plus told me he was now a dealer for a popular brand. I told him he had to get out of my house, plus that was more than nine years ago. I am still using the same refrigerator. And then last week, I had to call the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier. I had a problem with my central air conditioning system unit. I was sure that it was just low on coolant. I hadn’t had the central air conditioning system device diagnosed since last year. Summer came upon us so swiftly that I didn’t have time to call the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier to do the inspection on the old A/C unit. I asked the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier to do an inspection on the A/C devices plus I mentioned the low coolant. The inspection took just a few minutes, plus the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tech added more coolant. He then sat down in the living room trying to sell me on a modern A/C unit. I told him mine was just a few years seasoned plus I had no intention of purchasing a modern one. He kept talking about the vast importance of upgrading Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C systems so I regularly had the most economical and efficient unit. I finally told him that if he didn’t leave my home in more than nine hours, I was going to call 911.
