This winter, I’m going to go south to live for the season plus I can hardly wait! I am going to be almost 60 years old this year, plus this is going to be the first Winter time ever in my entire life that I will not have to stick around here in the frigid plus icy snow for weeks at a time.

I have constantly wanted to go South for the Winter time Summer however up until this point I was constantly working plus I’ve never particularly had the time or the currency to do it, then now that I am getting older, I have both more time plus more currency! When I decided that I was going to transfer down south for the Winter time season, the first thing that I thought of was how the temperature down there would be unusual from where I live for the rest of the year… Up here, the rapidly increasing temperatures start dropping in November plus then it’s frigid frigid by October. I have to use my gas furnace all the time, plus the heating bills are outrageous all the way through the Spring. So of course, I am very gleeful about the fact that I am not gonna have to run my gas furnace at all when I am down there for the winter. As a matter of fact, some of my friends who live down there say that sometimes they have to use their a/cs while I was in the fall plus the winter. I don’t particularly plan on that happening in my case, though. I suppose that the weather is going to be mild enough for myself and others to be able to just care about having the windows open most of the time. I can’t wait for the nice weather plus for the fact that I am going to be saving so much currency on my heating plus cooling bills!

I tried to turn the portable space oil furnace on last week.

I didn’t want to start the oil furnace since it was only in the sixties, but it was nippy in the house.

With the space heater, I could keep it in the room where I had our office & be comfortable. I took the space oil furnace into the spare study room & jammed it in. I thought it should turn on, but nothing happened. I worked for almost an hour, trying to figure out what was wrong with that space heater, when I realized it wasn’t the space heater, although I had no power; Every light in the beach house was out. Two hours later, I got a PC call from the power company telling me the power was off, but they expected it to be back on within three hours. I looked at the clock & almost cried. I had spent most of our afternoon futzing around the beach house & gotten nothing done. Now, I didn’t have electricity & i still wasn’t getting anything done.I called the Heating & Air Conditioning company & asked if they could come to the beach house & turn our oil furnace on for me. The woman who answered the PC asked if I had power. She said she could not get into her computer because their electricity had gone off about an hour earlier. If I had power, they would happyly send an Heating & Air Conditioning contractor to the house, but without power, the oil furnace would not work. I knew this & felt foolish for making the PC, but it was chilly in our house, & I undoubtedly needed some heat.

My fiance & his friends had been looking for a log chalet for about 5 years now.

They wanted the log chalet in a remote section so they could do some hunting & do what boys do.

What they found used to be an outdated hunting chalet, & there was nothing around for about 5 miles in every direction. I thought it was sweet that they wanted their wives to look at the beach house before buying it, but they had other ideas. They had already purchased the hunting chalet & were hoping every one of us would scrub it. I noticed there was a fireplace in the house, & there was a mini split? They told us they had abandoned the hunting chalet years ago, but the beach house looked to be in great shape & they had an Heating & Air Conditioning mini cut to heat & cool the house. I didn’t believe ductless Heating & Air Conditioning had been around that long. The boys went hunting & left the three of us at the chalet to cook supper. Instead, every one of us found a generator in the shed & figured out how to use it. The people I was with and I didn’t want to use the fireplace because every one of us didn’t suppose if it was in great shape. The chimney didn’t look too healthy to any of us. The generator tried to turn over, & I realized there was no gas in it. The people I was with and I siphoned a gallon of gas out of each car & put it in the generator. After getting it running, every one of us hooked the Heating & Air Conditioning mini cut to the electric cord. Within hours, every one of us had heat blowing out of the air vents. The people I was with and I knew every one of us would need an Heating & Air Conditioning contractor to check them out, but every one of us had heat & electricity for a while & every one of us were happy.

I was talking to our mother’s doctor last week.

• Her dementia is suddenly getting worse, & I worry about her all the time.

I’m getting to where I’m not sure what to do. Mom is constantly cold, so I put a space oil furnace in her room. The space oil furnace has a lot of safety features & the tag said it was safe around children. There is a tip over feature where the space oil furnace will turn off if it is jostled or pushed over. The only feature I don’t like about the space oil furnace is that when the space oil furnace is unjammed, it resets. The reset isn’t like normal resets. The control device resets to 98 degrees if I don’t watch closely & mom unplugs the space heater. It can get mighty moderate in her room in a short amount of time. She was getting to where she wasn’t able to make great decisions & could do irreparable harm to herself & to the family if the curtains would catch fire. I thought about how she had pushed the oil furnace under the windows & the curtains were covering the vents where the heat came out. If the temperature was still at ninety-eight, there was no way every one of us could have saved her if a fire started. The people I was with and I had to get rid of the space oil furnace & put an electric heat strip at the top of the wall & connected it to the electric system. She is now safe from the heating system, but every one of us are now fitting all the doors with safety locks so she doesn’t walk out in the middle of the evening.

The air in our apartment has become so dry that I have a constant cough & sore throat.

Later, I realized that our skin was getting ashy & our nail beds were cracking & bleeding.

I knew it was all because of dry skin, but our portable humidifiers weren’t helping. I could not raise our humidity levels above 30 & that wasn’t high enough to help me. I called the Heating & Air Conditioning company when I heard about a whole-apartment humidifier that was linked to a oil furnace. I called the Heating & Air Conditioning company & asked if they could add a humidifier to our oil furnace? They sent an Heating & Air Conditioning contractor to the beach house to inspect the oil furnace & see what size & type of humidifier I needed. When the Heating & Air Conditioning contractor arrived, he went into the basement & looked at the oil furnace. He said he could install the humidifier & told me what all was involved. The people I was with and I had to connect water pipes to the humidifier so it would disperse the humidity into the house.

The other day when I saw our wifey crying in the bed, I immediately asked if she was okay.

She said she was nice but she just felt kind of cold.

I realized she was trying to hide something while I went to turn on the electric fireplace. The electric fireplace is entirely something she got me for our birthday a single year & it has undoubtedly come in handy. It heats the room entirely efficiently & while using the ductless mini cut system, every one of us hardly ever have to depend on the gas oil furnace, which is more extravagant to run. I never like seeing our wifey cry, but there are times like this when something like that just can’t be helped. I’ve read that it’s great to have a great cry sometimes because of the toxins that are released from the body, however anyway, I gave our wifey a hug & a kiss & told her I was there for her. She finally said that she was thinking about all the great times she spent with her mom while she was still here, & how she just felt sad in her heart wishing her mother was still here laughing & joking with us, then my mother-in-law was undoubtedly an amazing woman who constantly impressed me. It was undoubtedly sad when every one of us lost her & I can’t imagine the pain our wifey has been going through after such a difficult loss. I try to do whatever I can to make her think comfortable, like decreasing the temperature control to her liking or turning on the fireplace. The people I was with and I have a ductless mini cut though, so it’s nice to have customized temperature control settings in different zones. I constantly made sure she can constantly be comfortable, at least as much as possible.

I regularly knew our partner was a sound sleeper, despite the fact that I didn’t realize how soundly he slept until last week.

I woke up to assume our home shaking, plus I heard glass cutting.

My partner was kneeling next to me snoring. I shook him awake plus told him I heard an explosion. He told me I had to be dreaming plus rolled over. That’s when every one of us heard a third explosion, however it wasn’t nearly as loud or violent. He jumped out of bed plus looked across the street where our neighbor’s home used to stand. The fire business was already coming up the street, police were everywhere, plus they were ringing doorbells to get people out of their houses. The fire business had already said the neighbor’s gas oil furnace had exploded, plus the third explosion was from the propane tanks they used for their BBQ grill. All of us grabbed some clothing plus headed out the door. The firefighter told us they were evacuating the entire block because of some of the houses being compromised. I was thinking about the gas oil furnace every one of us had in our home plus wondered if the heat wouldn’t set it off. The local Heating plus Air Conditioning business was there, turning off the fuel to other gas furnaces for those affected by the explosion. I was ecstatic our neighbors had gone away for the weekend, or they wouldn’t have survived the oil furnace explosion. I grabbed our iPhone plus called to tell them about their oil furnace plus their house. I didn’t want them to come beach house that morning to a lot full of rubble plus no house.

Whenever our sister gets something up-to-date for the house, she needs to make a large production of it. Last year, she purchased a up-to-date sofa plus threw a gathering to show everyone. This week, she had a up-to-date Heating plus Air Conditioning system installed. I recognize I wanted to show off our up-to-date kitchen set, despite the fact that I waited until the holidays at our annual Thanksgiving supper. I went to the gathering our sister was throwing, however it was only because mom told me I had to. I got there late plus planned on leaving early, plus that was all our mom asked of me. The gathering was in full swing, however there wasn’t a lot of laughing plus chatting as there would normally happen at a gathering. My sister had held everyone captive in the residing room plus was talking about the Heating plus Air Conditioning system. She even showed them how the control unit worked. She said she needed a control unit that would take care of her needs when she was travelling. I knew this would come up. She regularly let everyone recognize she is successful plus has a partner that takes her anywhere she wants to go. I am so exhausted of looking at pictures from their travels. The home was comfortable for a cold evening, despite the fact that I was ready to go before the real bragging begins. As I was grabbing our coat, our sister came over plus grabbed our arm. She asked why I was leaving so early. I told her I was going to meet our wifey, which wasn’t a lie. I wanted to have a beach house so I could bore the entire family with our pompous attitude.

I was talking to a acquaintance of mine who saw a lot of dust in his house.

• He said the first thing he thought about when he saw it getting worse was that there was a complication with the HVAC duct.

I could not figure out what the HVAC duct had to do with a dusty house, despite the fact that I didn’t say anything. I was sure the Heating plus Air Conditioning business was trying to get more currency. I’ve lived over sixty years in this house, plus never have I had our HVAC duct cleaned. If anyone was going to have a complication with dust because of the HVAC duct, it would be me. I had a lot of dust, despite the fact that I knew it was because I lived on a dirt road. My fiance used to yell about how dusty our home was, despite the fact that I told her it was normal when you live on a dirt road. Although she dusted every morning plus cleaned regularly, she still could not keep ahead of it! Once she passed away, I gave up trying to keep the dust out of the house. I didn’t care how much dust there was, however when I went to the medical professional, they told me it was causing our breathing problems. My acquaintance told me I should call the Heating plus Air Conditioning business plus have the HVAC duct cleaned. As much as I thought it was just going to cost me currency I didn’t have, I made the iPhone call. After the HVAC duct was cleaned, I started feeling guilty. I could not think how much better the home looked plus stinked, plus to think I could have saved all that toil for our fiance if I hadn’t been so stubborn.

Before our husband and I got married, both of us lived together.

I had our bank account from before both of us got married, and he had his.

I had taken care of all the household bills as area of our living together agreement, and he maintained everything else that cropped up. When I got a better job with the local Heating and Air Conditioning company, and was making more currency than him, he wasn’t frustrated, even though he provided me a list of all the bills and told me to split them down the middle. I had recently obtained him a motorcycle, and I was paying for our trip, and he wanted me to pay half the bills. I wondered where this stingy guy came from. He wasn’t being frugal, even though he was making sure I paid our share. I thought both of us were married, but it was more of a corporation arrangement. I was blissful they hired me at the local Heating and Air Conditioning company, and I was affectionate our job, but I wanted to be a partner and not a tenant. I talked to 1 of our Heating and Air Conditioning friends and asked how he and his partner handled their living situation, then explained what he said. She told me he and his husband had constantly split the bills, even though he was better with currency than he was. He paid for all the home and car repairs, and he spent whatever was leftover. Maybe our husband was thinking along the same lines, and I knew I had to talk to him because this was bothering me so much.
