That’s just so totally exciting for us given we come from a region where the gas furnace was cranking for many weeks straight while I was in the winter.

For sure, just like everyone else in this town, we are super thankful that November is winding down. This means that the Summer heat season is also winding down. I noticed the other moring for the first time that there wasn’t a chorus of heat pumps going full blast as I walked to get the paper. That’s a great sign. And although we’re relatively new to the region, we too were blissful to see this time of year get here again. For sure, the level of heat as well as humidity in this region has to be experienced to legitimately understand. The first Summer here, we could do nothing however just crank the Heating & Air Conditioning cooling as much as possible as well as just stay inside. This Springtime, we decided to be more accepting of the heat as well as do with less air conditioning. That made the Summer certainly much more manageable. At least that’s the way it feels to us. The people I was with and I love living where there are more than three easily distinct and evenly dispensed seasons. The Wintertide is cold for sure. But the people I was with and I don’t have the sort of temperatures that would require a gas gas furnace or a boiler. No, the heat pump does a great task of taking great care of us while I was in the winter. Even when the temps drop into the teens, the heat pump keeps us nicely warmed. Thankfully, those kinds of lows are rare. But just about as soon as I’m over the winter, here comes the Spring and the heat pump gets a bit of a rest. The Spring is remarkable around here and it feels love the whole place is blooming. This is also when I call to get the air conditioning tune up on the heat pump prior to summer time getting here. The summer, love the winter, isn’t as extreme as it is for our neighbors to the south. Still though, it gets plenty boiling and humid while I was in our summer. But once again, the heat pump comes riding to the rescue with plenty of Heating as well as A/C cooling. This is so nice to come lake house to when you’ve been outside all day. I toil inside an office with zone controlled Heating as well as A/C many, many hours while I was in the week. So I love to be outside all summer time when I can. The heat pump has myself and others covered while I was in the summer time just as it does for our winter.

Once Labor Day is over, I am going to buy a new air conditioner device for our house. I decided that I needed to go ahead & just bite the bullet & buy 1 for our upstairs bedroom, although I do have central air conditioner in our house. For some reason, the central air conditioner never easily seems to reach up to the corner bedroom at the end of the hallway on the top floor of our house, during the middle of the summer, the temperature up there in that bedroom can get so sizzling that you can barely stand to be in there. I don’t think if the builders who originally built our beach house forgot to put any insulation in the walls up there or what, however there is really a problem with the indoor air quality in that certain room. It doesn’t ever happen in any of the other rooms in our beach house so I think that I will just buy a small window air conditioner device for that certain room instead of trying to do something with the central to service it. I mean, I don’t want to have to run new ductwork or anything prefer that to try to service it so this would be the easiest way to improve the temperature in that room during the summer time next year. We don’t easily even use that room honestly much, however occasionally when we have houseguests they end up sleeping in there. I suppose easily bad about putting them in that bedroom when I think that the air conditioner does not easily work in that room!

Last evening at our nephew’s school play, it was so sizzling inside that I could barely even stand it! They were having issues in the theater with their air conditioner, & then at 1 point, an overheating air conditioner device legitimately ended up giving us a different kind of a show! We ended up having to evacuate the theater for about half an hour because they called firemen to investigate the smoke that was inside of the building.

Right in the middle of the fourth act of the play, there was a different smell of smoke & a unusual burning smell all throughout the theater.

It seemed to be coming from the air conditioner vents. That’s when someone called the fire department, who came & figured out that there was just a small problem with 1 of the pumps on an overheating air conditioner device in the building. There were dozens of us that had to go stand outside & wait around while they cleared the building. They had to make sure that nothing was legitimately on fire. I was great with it because I took our popcorn with me out into the parking lot & I wanted some fresh air at that point, anyway! Once we opted to go back into the theater, I legitimately thought that the place felt better inside than it had before. I don’t think what they did to the air conditioner, however they must have fixed something because the temperature inside was much more comfortable during the second act than it was during the fourth.

I was saving up our money to get this awesome new leather couch that I have had our eye on, however then the in our beach house stopped working.

When you are an adult & you live in your own home, these are the kinds of taxing decisions that you end up having to make; You never think what is going to go wrong in your house, & so you just about always have to have a fund set up for saving money for that kind of thing.

I l gained the taxing way a couple of years ago to have an emergency plan for things prefer that. In the middle of the Wintertide a couple of years ago, our electric oil furnace went out & I was without a heating plan for a couple of weeks until I could pay for a oil furnace repair. That’s when I figured out that I easily needed to have some kind of general emergency fund so that I could pay for things as they came up. Now, I keep a fund going & I keep it in our little safe & it’s just money. Whenever an emergency service comes up for things prefer our refrigerator or our automobile or our heating & cooling system, I just dip into the general service fund & use that money to service things. I had not had anything breakdown on me for a long time & so I was thinking about using some of the money to buy a new leather couch instead. However, as luck would have it, that has when our air conditioner plan stopped working.

I am pretty sure that I’m in prefer with the Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman who came to service our plan for me last week. I cannot stop thinking about him, that’s for sure. I think that it sounds prefer I am being a little bit over dramatic here, although I truthfully cannot stop thinking about him.I do not think if it’s because he saved me from the bad air quality in our house, or if it’s because he was literally the cutest guy that I have ever seen. Either way, when you put those 2 things together, that is a recipe for the perfect man. See, it was a easily sizzling morning & the central air conditioner in our beach house had stopped working. No matter how far I turned the temperature down on our control unit, the beach house just would not start cooling off.Worse than that, I was supposed to be having our biweekly book club meeting at our beach house that evening. I knew that I would never hear the end of it if I had all those people over to our beach house & the temperature in the beach house was 85 degrees! I knew that I needed to get the air conditioner fixed, so I called up a local Heating & Air Conditioning supplier that advertised itself as being super quick & thorough. Sure enough, they were able to send an Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman over to our beach house that honestly morning. However, when he got there & pulled up into the driveway in his Heating & Air Conditioning truck, I never thought about how handsome he would end up being. It was all I could do to tell him what was wrong & where the air conditioner plan was located in the house. Now, it’s a week later & I’m still thinking about him!
