Last year, I had a modern air conditioning component installed.

I didn’t know I would have any real issue, considering I had only used it a couple months before I would be turning it off.

I was shocked to find out that within a week after starting the air conditioning component for another summer, it would fail me. I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business and told them our A/C component would not turn on. They took our name and addressed and promised to have an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman to the home within a few hours. I looked for our paperwork for the A/C unit, where I had our Repair and Maintenance Plan, and the warranty information. I had all the information, including our sales receipt, that clearly showed when the A/C component was installed. It also showed that it was a brand modern A/C unit, in the box, and the delivery date. When the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman showed up, he told me the repair was a warranty repair, however it would need to go back to the manufacturer. The A/C component they had installed had a manufacturer’s recall because of subproper parts. I sat in our home wondering when I would get our A/C component back and what would happen if they could not repair it? Two hours later, I acquired a iphone call from the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation. They were sending a modern A/C component to the home and it would be there in an hour. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech was to arrive with it, and they would install the A/C component by the end of the morning.

I don’t know how anyone else feels, however there are a lot of things I would not supply up. I feel ‌I could supply up a lot of things, but I would not supply up our air conditioning. The only way I would supply up air conditioning is if someone were to take me out of the home and force me to watch them rip out the A/C unit. The entire time, I would kick and claw to get them away from me and the A/C unit. The air-conditioning component is one of those things that is more pressing to me than our microwave oven. I would cook outside on a grill as long as I could come inside and have perfect air conditioning when I was ready to eat. So, when I had to go without air conditioning for 24 hours, I was bereft. If someone had seen me at that point, they would have thought that a member of our family had died. I was so distraught knowing that I could not get an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman to come to our home and repair our air conditioning component that I couldn’t even go to work. It was a nice thing that it was the weekend and I didn’t have work, because our boss would not have appreciated our calling in because of lack of air conditioning. So, I spent the entire morning in our pool, thinking about how much I would like to be in the home and enjoying reading a book and feeling the air conditioning. By the time the next morning arrived, I was literally counting down the hours on our fingers, waiting for the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman to arrive and repair our A/C unit.

I was sure that when I left the house, there was an air conditioning component on its platform.

When I got back lake house that evening, I didn’t see an air conditioning unit. I did a double take and after that I went over to make sure somehow hadn’t veiled it with an illusion. I then called the landscapers to have some pine trees strategically place around the property to supply me the most shade. I couldn’t feel how suddenly the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman arrived. He told me which air conditioning he thought would be best and then he did measurements. I wanted an A/C component that would be energy efficient and still able to cool our home. It didn’t take long to have our trees planted, or the air conditioning component installed.

Over the last 2 weeks, I had noticed that whenever every one of us get of dire rainstorms, the a/c doesn’t work respectfully.

Two afternoons ago, every one of us had a dire thunderstorm, plus the winds were slanting right into the a/c unit.

When the A/C quit running, I knew there was a big problem, plus I called the Heating plus A/C business. My husband thought there may be a wire inside that was shorting out when the rain hit the wire. As soon as the rain quit, the Heating plus A/C supplier showed up. He opened up the A/C unit, plus our husband was right. There was a loose wire plus the water coming in plus hitting the wire was causing the A/C component to stop plus start, or just not run at all. The Heating plus A/C tech said that he was proper with the wiring in the a/c unit, but he had never seen this type of situation. He had a friend who also worked at the Heating plus A/C business, plus he was the one who did most of the wiring when the Heating plus A/C systems were installed. Once this gentleman showed up at our house, it did not take him long to cap off the wire. It sounds funny, even though I almost wanted it to rain soon so that I could see if our a/c component worked the way it was supposed to. It didn’t take long for myself and others to get our wish. The next afternoon, a tropical storm came through plus dumped almost 2 inches on us. My a/c component never faltered, plus every one of us stayed cool.

I don’t think about an elephant, even though I have an unforgiving memory about things that anger myself and others or cause myself and others to lose our trust in them.

That’s why, when I had to call the Heating plus A/C business, I wanted to think which Heating plus A/C supplier was going to show up. Of course, he had this one side that would joke unmercifully with you if he did not certainly love you. The only thing our mom ever had any reason for getting aggravated with them was that he consistently forgot about the air filters. At least once a year, I remember our mom having to forcefully push him out the door so he could change the air filter on the a/c unit. She did the same thing when it came time to change the air filter on the gas furnace. She reminded him ‌they had to be changed at least every six weeks, even though he was ecstatic if he took the time to do it, once a season. I don’t think why our father was so lax about the air filters, even though I knew it could be a problem. When I married an Heating plus A/C supplier, every one of us often chuckled about our Mom’s lack of decreasing air filters. He told myself and others the importance of needing a scrub air filter in the Heating plus A/C system. He explained how lack of airflow could cause damage to the a/c component and/or the gas furnace. My husband was quite diligent about decreasing our air filters, plus I never had to remind him. I just wish it had been the same case for our mom.
