I love the new window air conditioner in my camper/RV

After years of too much money spent on renting apartments that seemed to be falling apart, piece by piece, I decided I had enough.

  • I scoured the internet for an RV and found one that happened to be around my original budget.

Although I had to borrow an additional $500 from my parents to purchase the old RV, I managed to pay them back within the first six months from the savings on no rent payments. You might think that living in an RV would be the cheapest thing in the world, but I learned quickly just how expensive it can be if you’re doing it legally. Most people can guess that an RV wouldn’t have the best gas mileage in the world. I pay over twice as much money to drive the same distance as I did in my old sedan. But the insane price for fuel and the cost of repairs and maintenance for the RV are just part of the battle. I also have to pay wherever I park, if I’m doing it legally. Some people look for a Walmart that is fine with overnight parking, but a large portion of them are not. Campgrounds have daily fees and so do RV parks. But you also have to buy equipment, supplies, and appliances for your RV. I recently put a new window air conditioner inside my RV because the old one was no longer performing well. After getting it sealed inside the RV’s window, it started working really well from the jump. It’s a powerful cooling system and doesn’t utilize much energy to keep the inside of the RV nice and cool whenever I need a change with my indoor climate.

My friend totalled his truck with a new heater inside by driving it onto the ice to go fishing

My friend Richard has done some really stupid things in the years that I have known him.

He once downed an entire bottle of vodka and a one hour span of time and had to be rushed to hospital and have his stomach pumped to avoid dying from alcohol poisoning. A few months later he decided to take up mountain climbing with nothing more than a few hours of Youtube videos under his belt for experience. He had a lot of fun before making what other climbers would refer to as a “rookie mistake,” and ended up falling from 40 feet in the air. He was lucky to be caught by a tree on the way down and was able to recover in a few months. You’d think that an experience like that would change your mindset completely when it comes to the risks you take, but it didn’t for Richard. Recently he made a massive and expensive mistake by driving his truck onto a frozen lake to go ice fishing. In Richard’s defense, he’s not the only person who does this every year. Some people drive their entire campers onto the ice, assuming that it’s at least 2-3 feet thick. But Richard had just fixed the broken heater in his truck and was ignoring local warnings that said the ice was too thin for vehicles. He drove his truck out onto the ice and was fine at first. He unloaded his temporary ice fishing shack and got his equipment out of the truck when he heard what sounded like a small bomb go off as the ice collapsed beneath his truck. He had to cool 911 and nearly got pulled into the icy water himself. Worst of all—insurance claims for vehicles lost to ice are immediately denied. He had just fixed his truck’s heating system and now it was stuck in a partially frozen lake.

I cannot believe my friend drove her truck onto a frozen lake

My friend Richie has done some absolutely stupid things in the years that I have known him.

She once downed an entire bottle of vodka and a single hour span of time and had to be rushed to hospital and have her stomach pumped to avoid dying from alcohol poisoning.

A few weeks later she decided to take up mountain climbing with nothing more than a few hours of Youtube videos under her belt for experience. She had a lot of fun before making what other climbers would refer to as a “rookie mistake,” and ended up falling from 40 feet in the air. She was fortunate to be caught by a tree on the way down and was able to reclaim it in a few weeks. You’d guess that an experience akin to that would change your mindset completely when it comes to the risks you take, but it didn’t for Richie. Recently she made a large and extravagant mistake by driving her truck onto a frozen lake to go ice fishing. In Richie’s defense, she’s not the only woman who does this every year. Some people drive their entire campers onto the ice, assuming that it’s at least 2-3 feet thick. But Richie had just fixed the broken gas furnace in her truck and was ignoring local warnings that said the ice was too thin for vehicles. She drove her truck out onto the ice and was good at first. She unloaded her temporary ice fishing shack and got her component out of the truck when she heard what sounded prefer a small bomb go off as the ice collapsed beneath her truck. She had to call 911 and nearly got pulled into the icy water herself. Worst of all—insurance claims for vehicles lost to ice are instantly denied. She had just fixed her truck’s heating method and now it was stuck in a partially frozen lake.

I couldn’t patch the air conditioner in my car.

No matter how hard I tried, I could not patch the air conditioner in my car.

If I would have been able to patch the air conditioner in my car, I would have been in a much better place.

I knew that the air conditioner had a leak in it when I decided to buy the car. Although I would have preferred to buy a car with a working air conditioner, I didn’t have much of an option, so I didn’t really make a big deal about it. The owner of the car told me that he recharged the air conditioner with freon every summer and was able to use the air conditioner without any issue. I had no reason to doubt the person who sold me the car, so I decided to buy it since it really was my only option. For a few summers, this was true. I recharged the freon every summer and had absolutely no problem with the air conditioner in the car. However, the hole in the line for the central air conditioner must have gotten bigger because it is not working anymore. The freon empties out of the air conditioner within just a few hours on a road trip, and that is bad. Thankfully, I had been able to locate the hole in the line, so I decided to try to patch it to see if I could fix the central air conditioner. Unfortunately, it seems that the problem with the central air conditioner was a little complicated. I tried multiple times, but I was not able to patch the hole for the central air conditioner. I guess that I am going to either have to take it to a mechanic or live without the air conditioner.

Why should I buy a central air conditioner?

Why should I buy a central air conditioner? Honestly, I don’t understand all the hype about owning a central air conditioner.

I have lived a long time, and I have never needed a central air conditioner.

I don’t even own a regular window air conditioner. I understand why someone in the South might need a central air conditioner. During the summer, the temperatures in the South are very warm, and I would imagine that it would be very difficult to be comfortable if you did not own a central air conditioner even though there were generations of people that managed to do it. However, I live in the North, where the temperatures don’t even get that hot. I don’t understand why anyone up here even needed a central air conditioner. We only have really warm temperatures for a few weeks, and then it is pretty comfortable. Buying central air conditioners seems very expensive if you are only going to use them for a few weeks. I think that people have just become accustomed to extreme comfort, and they don’t know how to live without a central air conditioner. I am afraid that if I buy a central air conditioner, I will become weaker. There are a lot of places around the work that don’t have any central air conditioners. I don’t mind if people have central air conditioners, but I don’t understand why people think that I need a central air conditioner. I have lived my entire life without a central air conditioner. Apparently, I have managed to survive without one all these years. I don’t think that I am going to change my mind now.

Are window air conditioners worth it?

Do you think that window air conditioners are worth it? Honestly, I am not sure that window air conditioners are worth it.

I have considered buying a window air conditioner just to cool my bedroom down.

I live in a house, but the house does not have a central air conditioner. I have considered purchasing a central air conditioner, but I know that I honestly have no way of affording a central air conditioner. Considering my budget, I know that there is absolutely no way that I am going to be able to afford a central air conditioner. However, I know that I could afford a window air conditioner right now. I just don’t know if it is worth having a window air conditioner. I would only be able to cool one room in my house with a window air conditioner. If I did buy a window air conditioner, I would definitely put it in my bedroom where I spend most of my time. However, I know that window air conditioners can make my bills expensive, and I certainly don’t want to waste money. I don’t know how long it would take me to save for a central air conditioner, but do you think it would be worth it to hold off on a window air conditioner for a while so that I could save for a central air conditioner. If I did that, I would have a better air conditioner, but I am not sure if I actually need a better central air conditioner. I have never owned an air conditioner before, so I have no idea what it would be like to have a central air conditioner consistently.
