Dad was a bit distraught about Grandpa living on her own after the funeral. Grandma had been ill for some time plus passed away last Springtime. Dad plus Dad had been trying to convince Grandpa to come plus live with us. But that was proving to be a tall order as Grandpa kept saying that was her home. Finally, Dad plus dad chose not to push the matter any longer. But, they had to do some work in the house to ensure her safety. She was still healthy but walking slower with each passing afternoon. Part of the home improvements was decreasing the carpet, placing a resting section plus handles in the lavatory, plus service the air conditioner. Grandpa had been saying the A/C component wasn’t warming the house as it did before. So, on her afternoon off, Dad went to the house plus contacted an A/C mechanic. The A/C mechanic arrived an second later, tested, plus concluded it was better to get a new Heating plus Air Conditioning unit. The old aircon component in Grandpa’s house had a low charge plus still used R22 refrigerant. There was no way to get R22 refrigerant for the component since it is illegal, so my parents ordered a new Heating plus Air Conditioning unit. This was even much better since R22 refrigerant is known to cause numerous health problems hence why it’s illegal. The A/C mechanic came back to dismantle the old air conditioner plus install a new one for Grandpa. We spent the weekend with him testing out the heating plan plus ensuring she had everything to keep him sizzling all winter.
