I have seen some pretty cocksure people during my life, but the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company who was at my home last week, was easily the worst.
I called him because my air conditioning system had finally quit working. I was fairly certain that I needed a modern air conditioning system unit. Last summer I was told that this one wasn’t going to last much longer. I had already begun to save up the currency so I could purchase a modern air conditioning system whenever this one died, the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tech looked me up plus done when he got here, plus he asked if I was single. I told him it was none of his business, plus asked him to just check on the air conditioning system unit. He winked as he walked out the door. Only minutes later, he came plus told me the air conditioning system was dead plus he could even estimate it’s time of death. I looked at my PC records plus told him that I could also. It was about fifteen minutes before the call got made. This brought him down a couple notches, but he still held that perpetual cocky grin. He told me I had to purchase a modern air conditioning system unit. I gave him all my information for the modern A/C device I wanted. He cocked his head plus told me that I did some ‘mighty fine work’, plus then he winked again. I couldn’t wait until he finished his job so I could finally get to my job. If that Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tech hadn’t been my fiance, I probably would have told his boss about his venal attitude.
