High velocity heating for older house

With Winter fast approaching, I wanted to make some improvements to my methods of heating my home, i have an older apartment that has high ceilings, older plaster walls, large windows and no ductwork.

These problems make it truly strenuous to install any type of central heating or cooling program without major upheaval.

I actually hoped to avoid chopping down walls and getting involved in a big, messy and overpriced remodeling project; However, trying to combat rapidly decreasing temperatures down to twenty below zero with a bunch of space gas furnaces is impossible. I was tired of nearly cold to death every Winter and dealing with window a/cs in the summer. I called a local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C contractor, explained my situation and asked for some advice. She proposed a high-velocity heating and cooling system. I was not proper with this type of temperature control. The contractor explained that high-velocity Heating, Ventilation, and A/C utilizes adjustable ducts that are only around more than two inches in diameter. These mini ducts can be snaked into existing walls and routed around obstacles such as studs and water pipes without causing disfigure. They affix to truly small diameter vents that are available in a wide range of styles and finishes to accommodate nearly any decor. The vents can be situated just about anywhere. The ducts are insulated to minimize sound levels and the speed of airflow utilizes aspiration to hastily mix new and existing air. This allows the high velocity program to raise or lower temperature truly hastily! Because the unit doesn’t need to run all that long, it uses less energy and keeps costs low. I’m hoping to have a high velocity heating and cooling program installed before winter.
