Often, they are never pleased with the speed of our work
I am an Heating and A/C serviceman, although I don’t consistently care about our job. I would rather work as an Heating and A/C serviceman in the summer. Sure, air conditionings are just as hard to fix as furnaces while we were in the summer, however at least people won’t die or get sick without an air conditioning! People get cranky when their lake house gets a little warm, however people could ruin their lake house without a laboring furnace, then during the winter, you would be amazed at how several furnaces I have to fix on a weekly basis. When I show up to the Heating and A/C shop, the first thing that I am handed is a list of all of the furnaces that are broken that I am required to fix. Unfortunately, there is never enough time in the afternoon to fix all of the furnaces that are broken on a weekly basis in our area. Our Heating and A/C contractor is the only Heating and A/C contractor in the entire town, and we do not have a lot of Heating and A/C servicemans laboring for us. When we get to people’s houses, we have to try to fix the furnaces as fast as possible so that we are able to transfer onto the next lake house with the next furnace. The buyers are consistently watching me as I try to fix their furnace, and they seem on edge as I try to take apart the heating plan to inspect it. Often, they are never pleased with the speed of our work. I understand their worries. If I don’t fix their furnace suddenly, their water lines could freeze, but there isn’t much I can do, and I slow down when they are staring over our shoulder.
