I'm painting a fence today that I made for my a/c condenser

After getting a new table saw, I’ve been busy with different building projects every weekend.

Last week I built a TV cabinet and entertainment system and this week I’m making shelves for my man cave in the basement.

My wife is hoping for a new desk for her office, but I’m not sure when I’ll have the time to assemble that and stain it before covering it with lacquer. Since her birthday is coming up in a few months, I think I will save it until then. Right now my attention is focused on the exterior of our house and making sure it looks nice from the road. I have put up new fascia in the front and the back, so all I need to do is cover it with a few coats of paint and then it will be set for another 10 years. I also built a small wooden fence out of lattice board to wrap around our unsightly HVAC condenser unit. The fencing doesn’t look great bare, but I’m excited to see the results of the paint job I’m giving it today. Once the painting is complete, that unsightly air conditioner condenser will finally be covered. Some of my neighbors surrounded there’s with large bushes and hedges, but I don’t want to make it too difficult for my HVAC supplier to service the condenser when they’re here for seasonal maintenance. We also plan to grow a vine plant like jasmine so that eventually there will be flowers weaving in and out of the lattice holes. It should look beautiful in the end once it has all grown in. No matter how ugly your air conditioner condenser may look, there are creative ways to hide it from the road. Plus, I don’t want to look at it constantly when I’m outside either.
