Not enough security in our home

All of us substituted all of the old device and started fresh

When I purchased my house, there were signs of numerous unusual security systems left behind. It is an older house and some of the gear had been hardwired in. There was a sizable security panel set up in a closet that had once controlled a series of cameras and alarms. There were wireless sensors set up on all of the windows and exterior doors. There were floodlights mounted near the peak of the roof. All of us also had signs for the security monitoring contractor posted all the way around the property. I had no clue what to do with all of the equipment, none of it was functional. Some of it looked brand new. I considered calling the security contractor listed on the posted signs and seeing about starting up their equipment. In the end, I figured that the signs would be fine to stop a break-in. About two years back, I took our family on a 10 day cruise over the Christmas holiday. All of us had a neat time on a tropical beach. When we came home, every one of us discovered that our home had been broken into and robbed. They stole our televisions, jewelry, ipads, some currency and small appliances. They also caused damage to furniture and floors. Having signs advertising a security plan didn’t help. I realized every one of us needed a new, now working security system. All of us substituted all of the old device and started fresh. All of us now have state-of-the-art surveillance cameras, automated door locks and sensors for glass breakage, smoke, moisture and movement. The streamlined plan looks better, provides total peace of mind and has also lowered our insurance payments.
