He is certainly excited about studying the Heating & A/C trade, but I had to caution him that the people I was with and I would be going slow & doing it the right way. The two of us started with the basic tools every Heating & A/C tech relies on, my cousin carried the tools, he inventories the tools, he cleaned the tools. He l gained the tools by touch, which is a vital skill for Heating & A/C work because that comes up every single day, however after he learns the tools, then I start with basic oil furnaces & ductwork. Modern cooling systems are incredibly complex so it’s best to start with the simpler oil furnaces. The two of us eage gradually into the work, studying every single step of the process before moving on. My family and I have a Christmas tradition of going to the Japanese steakhouse for a immense meal.

The two of us also have a tree, and decorations, and the people I was with and I exchange presents, but the heart and soul of the day is our family feast at the steakhouse.

It started off because the people I was with and I had a power outage at home, and needed to go out to eat that day. It was such a nice memory that the people I was with and I did it again the next year, and are still doing it twelve years later! This year things took a weird turn, and the Steakhouse lost all power and heating, so the people I was with and I had to stay home. As it turns out, that was a fantastic turn of events, because the people I was with and I had ample heating from our roaring fireplace, the people I was with and I had gifts and decorations… and also there was a massive 45 car pileup on the highway due to icy roads. If the people I was with and I had gone out that day, the people I was with and I might have been in a serious accident! Maybe this is fate saying that our Christmas meals at the steakhouse are a thing of the past, replaced by a current tradition of a roaring fireplace and opening gifts. The two of us also had the Heating, Ventilation and A/C method in the house running, of course, because the fireplace can only do so much. It gets below zero degrees at times, so as much as the fireplace is fantastic for ambiance and emotional comfort, it can’t replace the amazing heating power of our furnace.
