The headaches were too much to bear

I woke up and I had no idea how much time had passed.

Last month when I was at work, A co-worker dropped a screwdriver on top of my head. The guy was working on a rooftop AC unit. I was standing below with the ladder and my hand. I wasn’t really paying attention to everything that was going on, but neither was my coworker Jack. The guy tossed a screwdriver over the side of the roof and it landed on top of my head. Thank goodness it doesn’t land in a way that impelled my body. It still won’t hit me with a pretty big side and I had a bump on my head for several days. After the accident, I started to experience headaches. I took a couple of Ibuprofen and Tylenol and attributed the headaches to getting hit in the head. I didn’t consider the injury to be life-threatening or serious until the headaches became too much to bear. Three days after the accident, I was working on an AC repair and I was alone. I was inside of an apartment working on an AC problem by myself. My head started to ache and I closed my eyes. I must have passed out for several minutes. I woke up and I had no idea how much time had passed. After that, I called my boss and I told him that I probably needed to go to the emergency room. I never filled out an accident report earlier that week or even mentioned the headaches to the guy, so he was very surprised. He made me fill out an accident report before we went to the emergency room.
