I was really impressed by my local heating and air conditioning company with what they have been doing. They have been running a charity to get donations so they can give away free brand new and totally up to date central heating and air conditioning system units in their homes. This was really amazing if you ask me. I do not hear about heating and cooling businesses caring about the poor and less fortunate that often. And to do something like taking charity collections to be able to put the most brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning systems in people’s homes is the most heartfelt and thoughtful thing ever. I hear they are close to reaching their goal to get the first 5 central heating and air conditioning systems available for donation. I also heard that these first 5 central heating and air conditioning systems are going to go to low income old age homes. The next heating and air conditioning system money raised is going to be going to the poor neighborhoods for families that either do not have any central heating and air conditioning in their home or to those who have old central heat and a/c units that are breaking down a lot and need to be upgraded to brand new central heating and air conditioning systems. I have donated a few hundred bucks. I wish I could donate more, but I myself am not too far off from being one of those poor people. So being able to even squeeze a few hundred bucks to put towards the cause took me a lot!
