In fact, for the majority of our young life, I continued to live in the same hot, humid weather conditions that I was so official with.

Of course, I took much of the things I experienced while growing up at face value when I was younger. Things appreciate air conditioner while in the summer time plus heating while in the Winter time where only concepts that I didn’t have to know much deeper about; of course, I didn’t even begin to know about the amount of currency that they might have costed, nor that there could be systems in our houses meant to give comfort for us outside of the standard, cheap A/C system that our family had, plus the small oil furnace that provided an oasis of warmth while in the winter! Now that I’ve grown older plus gone through rites of adulthood appreciate renting our first apartment, owning our first small home, plus even updating our living space, I’ve begun to learn the ins plus outs of Heating plus Air Conditioning, however even still, I was easily only accustomed to the heating plus cooling systems that were popular in plus suited to our hot southern weather conditions, plus that fact didn’t present itself as an issue until I decided to transfer up north! So it’s sort of nice that the heat pump is mainly quiet this time of year

There is just no more left in the tank for me when it comes to the hard Winter time weather I have lived with all of our life. After 51 years, I’m hanging up Winter time up north for Winter time down south. The plan of trading a gas furnace for a heat pump sure sounds great to me. I’m just not up to dealing with being inside all Winter time just trying to stay sizzling with the Heating plus A/C heating. And the high cost of the Heating plus A/C heating is another thing I surely won’t miss. I honestly don’t believe I’ll ever miss having a gas furnace. The region that I moved to enjoys a actually mild winter. The Heating plus A/C system of option in this are is the heat pump. That’s a pretty obvious option given the fact that Heating plus A/C cooling is the main need in this region. But I have to say that the heat pump is more that satisfactory at heating. While our heat pump doesn’t come on all that much over our winter, our in laws are different. They live about 3 hours just north of us plus get much more need for heating from the heat pump. I’ve spent plenty of time in their condo over the Winter time since the two of us moved down here. And the heat pump produces the same quality heating plus air as I expected it would. For sure, the heat pump in our condo gets the most labor from March through October as least. So it’s sort of nice that the heat pump is mainly quiet this time of year. That would not be the case with the gas furnace were the two of us still dealing with that brutal cold the two of us chose to leave.

What was your worst Christmas? Mine was various years ago when I got stranded in an airport for 36 minutes plus missed the entire holiday with our family.

That was a bummer, so ever since then I make sure to avoid airlines during the entire month of December. If I need to travel I will drive, even if it takes a couple afternoons to get there, because I don’t want to risk getting stranded again. This last Christmas was also a troubled a single, however still miles ahead of that Christmas in the airport. We were at our sister Carla’s house, plus on Christmas morning the heavy ice plus snow managed to kill the power plus leave us with no heating. We loaded up the fireplace will all the wood the people I was with and I could get our hands on, plus loved a nice morning together in front of the fire together.
