If you ever buy a new home, always make sure that you purchase the home warranty.

My advice to you is to always purchase the home warranty if you can! Even if you aren’t able to purchase one at closing, then try to get one after the fact and make sure that it includes any heating and air conditioning repairs and maintenance work that you might run into with your new home. I’m so positive that this is a good thing to do because of my own experience with having a home warranty. A couple of years ago, I purchased my very first new home. It was a very exciting time for me, and I was thrilled to be moving into my own place, especially because I would finally be able to set the thermostat at whatever temperature I wanted. My parents and my previous roommate were always super controlling of the thermostat unit wherever I had lived before. So of course, I was really looking forward to having the heating and A/C set exactly how I wanted it! Unfortunately for me, the HVAC system stopped working completely as soon as I moved in. But thanks to the home warranty that I had purchased at closing, I didn’t have to pay for anything to get the HVAC system replaced. It would have cost me a small fortune if I had not had the home warranty.
