Building a greenhouse for exercise and nutrition

I started a workout program at the gym, but also started doing a lot more yard work

My summer project was building a greenhouse in my backyard. This is something that I have wanted for years, but always managed to find a good excuse to put it off for another year. After that last annual checkup with my doctor, I feel like I could put it off no longer. I needed the exercise, so the manual labor would be good for me. I needed more time out in the sun, for my general health. And more than anything else I needed to vastly improve my diet, which was the whole point of the greenhouse. I enrolled in a free nutritional counseling session, which was a very basic class teaching core essentials for health and wellness. The one thing that really stuck out to me was how health and fitness were a whole body package, and that included eating habits and mental health as well. I started a workout program at the gym, but also started doing a lot more yard work. I dug out a square that would be the outline of the future greenhouse, and honed my training methods and workouts to help with my core strength. Building a greenhouse is not easy work, it requires planning, skill, and a lot of weight lifting doesn’t hurt, either! I actually got it completed a lot faster than I had intended, mostly because the frequent exercise gave me a lot more energy for building. I am not ready to say I could be a good fitness coach, or that I could teach people to build greenhouses, but I think I can inspire people.
