Ductless heat pump fixes our temperature control in shed

I often refinish old furniture as a hobby in our spare time.

I visit local flea markets, garage sales, estate sales plus antique stores plus find sturdy, hardwood furniture for easily low prices.

These pieces have consistently been painted over various times, are missing hardware or disfigured in some way. I enjoy stripping the paint plus uncovering the original woodgrain. I like making these pieces charming plus useful again. I’ve recently started reselling the furniture plus making a tidy profit. I decided I needed a dedicated space where I could labor on the furniture all year round, no matter the weather. The dust, fumes plus noise I create don’t allow me to labor inside the house. I ended up building a small shed in the backyard. It was simple to run electric to the shed but I had some difficulty determining how to handle temperature control. I was unwilling to invest a ton of money into heating plus cooling a shed. I didn’t have a great deal of room to accommodate bulky device plus whatever I chose needed to run on electricity! After quite a bit of research, I came across ductless heat pumps. A ductless machine is comprised of a fairly compact outdoor compressor plus a easily streamlined plus lightweight indoor air handler. The various components are connected by a conduit that requires a 3-inch hole in an exterior wall. The system was fairly extravagant to purchase, but I managed to install it myself. It provides both heating plus cooling plus effectively dehumidifies plus filters out contaminants. It runs silently plus is exceptionally energy efficient.
