When I got out of college, I knew that my career had to involve traveling abroad. I ended up traveling on business ventures for several years. Then, the covid-19 pandemic struck. I started to get very homesick, and I finally decided to head back home. My parents were ecstatic that I was returning to my hometown, and they offered to take me in until such time as I could purchase a new home for myself. My uncle was also very supportive of my decision considering the fact that he almost immediately offered me a job at his HVAC company. He runs a rather large HVAC company that deals with commercial and residential projects. He decided to offer me a managerial position because of my resume and skills in this area. It’s true that I assumed several leadership roles throughout my career traveling abroad. After a week of settling in, I started working with my uncle on taking his business to the next level. Ultimately, my uncle put me in charge of both marketing and customer satisfaction. I was in charge of making sure that customers were getting exactly what they wanted from us and that we received nice reviews for the service that we provided them. Eventually, I also worked on making sure that our employees morale was up and that they were being supported as much as possible. Ultimately the fruit of both my and my uncle’s labors paid off, and his business is more successful than ever with excellent reviews from thousands of satisfied customers!
