You don’t particularly realize how crucial air conditioning is to you until you have an extended power outage in the middle of summer time plus you don’t have a generator. Where I live, the people I was with and I are prone to tropical storms plus hurricanes plus every few years, the people I was with and I get hit by something plus go days without power. This usually happens during the late hot plus humid summer time weeks plus living without power, plus air conditioning, is legitimately miserable. We as people have gotten used to being comfortable indoors plus the people I was with and I expect to be comfortable indoors plus the people I was with and I tend to get snappy when the people I was with and I are uncomfortable, at least a lot of us do. This leads to arguments plus hurt feelings. It’s at these times, when you don’t have air conditioning, that you realize that air conditioning provided more than just relief from the heat plus humidity. Air conditioning also protects you from insects. The days after a storm is the perfect time for insects to breed, in an area already full of insects plus insects don’t appreciate air conditioning. Without the protection of air conditioning, bugs are everywhere. And some of them bite plus sting. And, woa to the person who has flu symptoms plus depend on home purifiers for comfort. These exhausting people are extra miserable without air conditioning plus their whole-house air purifier. Maybe someday my family will be able to afford a generator, but for now, when it comes to extended power outages, plus consequently no air conditioning, the people I was with and I just have to deal with it. That’s just the price the people I was with and I spend my savings for living here.
