My elderly father and I have always had an odd relationship, however it’s been hard for me to transport past everything that both of us have been through as I get older, when I was a little boy, my dad cheated on my mom as well as left us for her.
He lived with this other lady for about seven years as well as didn’t even call us once. He didn’t call on my graduation day or any of my birthdays; So to say that I am bitter is an understatement. I am praying that eventually I will be able to have a normal relationship with my dad, although I am just not sure that is ever going to happen. Well, Last year my dad randomly called me as well as told me that he heard I was having concerns with the Heating as well as A/C system in my house, however the only reason that he would have known about my Heating and A/C system concerns was because my mom must have told him. I don’t talk to my dad any longer although I know that my mom still has some kind of communication with him, but my dad gave to pay for my Heating as well as A/C system upgrade although I knew that meant there would be strings linked. I didn’t want to feel like I owed my dad anything because he gave to pay for my Heating as well as the A/C system. I told him that I didn’t need his help, but he was insisting. I told him that I didn’t want to accept his help although I guess it would be truly insane of me not to let him pay for my Heating as well as the A/C system!
