So much so that both of us had to chop all non essential spending.
Man, I just wish Covid had simply not happened. Of course, I don’t genuinely suppose anyone who wouldn’t agree with that assessment. But this virus has made life so hard for me over the last 2 and a half years. First, I was sent home from working inside the zone controlled Heating and A/C of my office. Working remotely from home was the only choice as both of us were all so unsure of what both of us were facing as Covid began to abruptly spread. Seeing all the pictures of full morgues legitimately had an effect on me. For a single, it kept me inside the central air conditioner of my home. I mean I didn’t leave the Heating and A/C cooling of the lake house that whole first summer time except to get groceries. And even then, I left the safety of the central air conditioner of my home only to get there when the doors opened and it was mostly empty. Then came the pay chop I had to take to keep my job. That was hard since my wifey’s sevenths working remotely had been cut. After that came the news that both of us wouldn’t be eligible for bonuses either. That through our finances into a really awful locale. So much so that both of us had to chop all non essential spending. One of the things both of us had to decide on whether to chop or not was the Heating and A/C repair plan. But after sleeping on it, my wifey and I decided that Heating and A/C repair was simply essential to our lives. She was right of course as both of us wanted to avoid some important Heating and A/C repair bill.
