I always sit in front of the air conditioner. I know that may sound selfish, but I have so many hot flashes that I have to sit in front of the air conditioner just to stay comfortable. I really miss having central air conditioning in our old house. We had to sell that house and move to a different State for my husband’s job. I truly miss that house with central air conditioning. Our new house does not have central air conditioning. We have a few window air conditioning units, and that is it. I am thankful for some type of air conditioning, but I really miss central air conditioning. I sit in front of our window air conditioning unit whenever I am in the living room. My kids know not to sit in that spot right in front of the air conditioner because that is mommy’s spont. It is sort of a joke with me and my husband. He tries to steal my spot in front of the air conditioner quite often. We like to fight over the air conditioned seat. I usually win because I tickle him, and he hates that. At church, I sit right in front of an HVAC vent because I sweat to death if I don’t. I have actually asked people to switch me seats if I can’t find a seat by an air conditioning vent. Most people will gladly give up their seat near the air conditioning vent because they get too cold. Not me, I never get too cold while sitting in front of the air conditioning vent. It is actually my preferred seat. I just love air conditioning. I truly don’t know what I would do without air conditioning.
