I bought a second air conditioner for my camper. I thought that one air conditioner would be fine for my camper, but it isn’t enough when I have friends sleeping on the other side of the camper. I had to buy a regular window air conditioning unit to put in my camper last summer because the original air conditioning system that was built into the camper stopped working. It just died one day, and it got really hot really fast in my camper. It went from like seventy degrees to like ninety in about an hour. I realized really quickly that I was going to have to figure out another way to air condition my camper. I bought a window air conditioning unit not knowing if it would work or not, but thankfully, it did work just fine. The one air conditioner worked just fine for me. It really only kept half of the camper cool, but I would close the bedroom door during the day, and it would keep the rest of the camper cool except the bedroom. At night, I would leave the door open so the bedroom would cool down. The kitchen area and other tiny bedroom area was not cool until I had the bedroom door shut during the day. That was fine until I had some friends stay in my camper with me, and they slept on the bed in the kitchen. It was either not cool for them or not cool enough for me with just the one air conditioner, so I ended up buying a second air conditioner to use whenever I have people in my camper with me.
