Three law enforcement officers came to my apartment on Thursday afternoon.
I thought they were going to bust down the door.
They knocked loudly, as if there was a murder suspect behind the doors. They called out my name plus I answered the door. The police officer asked me if I bought an A/C machine from a guy on facebook, however he asked if I was the facebook user with the screen name * plus I said yeah. He asked me to put my hands behind my back plus he locationd me in cuffs. He said he had a search warrant for the A/C unit. At this point, I realized that the A/C machine must be stolen. I told the officer that I did not suppose the A/C machine was stolen. I never should have said that out loud. I was just thinking in my head that it was the only way these cops would be all over me. The cops took me down to the station to answer questions. They offered to get me a lawyer plus I did not suppose if that was a fantastic idea or not. I did not have anything to hide from the police, although I did not want to get charged with a crime. I did not suppose the A/C machine was stolen when I bought the item online. The cops actually believed me, however they wanted all of the information about the purchase including the name of the guy plus his facebook screen name. I tried to cooperate as much as I could.That was a hard lesson l earned. I was out $225 bucks plus the cops weren’t going to refund that money.
