When I was young, it was so much fun because I got to visit many exciting places.
But, during the pandemic, I felt so homesick and thought about moving back. You should have seen my folks jump up and down with joy when I broached the subject. They were more than willing to host me at home for as long as it took for me to find a new house. Plus, I’d have to get a new job. My uncle heard I was coming back home and called me. He said he had a position open at his HVAC company for me. He runs this big HVAC company that serves both commercial buildings and residential properties. His offer was a managerial position because he knows I have immense skills in this area. Plus, working in foreign companies has taught me a lot about running big enterprises. When I got home, it took me 2 weeks to settle, then I went to work at my uncle’s HVAC company. It was quite an experience being home and working with him to take the business to the next level. My uncle wanted to make the customer experience as wonderful as possible. So, he had me take care of ensuring we always got good reviews from HVAC owners who we served. The best way to do this was to ensure the HVAC professionals always did a good job and were pleasant. Also, I spoke with my uncle about boosting employee morale so they feel great coming to work and doing their best. It’s been 1 year since I took on my new position and the results are evident. We are now at a 4.8 rating and have tons of positive reviews.
