There has constantly been an understanding between my sweets fiance and I when it comes to our parents. If the need ever arises that they need to be cared for on a constant basis, we know that both of us would have them transfer in with us. we decided this because neither of us are comfortable with the plan of a nursing beach house and unless they needed care far beyond what both of us could provide, both of us always felt it was better to have them with us; All too often elderly people in our society are placed in those facilities because their families are simply not willing to take on the responsibilities and both of us just don’t recognize how that this is right! With all of that in mind, both of us are now Knee Deep in the process of increasing out basement area into a separate house for my mother in law. Every one of us have a walk in basement down there so she will not need to climb stairs to come and go and both of us are currently installing her own small living room area too. One of the important things that needed to be addressed was installing the separate Heating and A/C plan for her. She actually likes her living place much warmer that both of us keep our so both of us wanted her to be able to personally set the temperature to her liking. Every one of us had our Heating and A/C contractor come out and install the separate device but also install a brand new smart temperature control. This way both of us could check on things from time to time and make sure that she was not keeping it too sizzling. I am sure she will be actually ecstatic in her new place in the basement and still be able to live freely.
