Whenever our sibling gets something new for the house, she needs to make a important production of it.
Last year, she obtained a new sofa and threw a celebration to show all the people. This week, she had a new Heating and A/C plan installed. I know I wanted to show off our new living room set, although I waited until the holidays at our annual Thanksgiving supper. I went to the celebration our sibling was throwing, but it was only because Dad told myself and others I had to. I got there late and planned on leaving early, and that was all our Dad asked of me. The celebration was in full swing, but there wasn’t a lot of laughing and chatting as there would normally happen at a celebration. My sibling had held all the people captive in the dining room and was talking about the Heating and A/C system. She even showed them how the control component worked. She said she needed a control component that would take care of her needs when she was travelling. I knew this would come up. She constantly let all the people know she is successful and has a partner that takes her someplace she wants to go. I am so tired of looking at pictures from their travels. The cabin was comfortable for a freezing evening, although I was ready to go before the real bragging begins. As I was grabbing our coat, our sibling came over and grabbed our arm. She asked why I was leaving so early. I told her I was going to meet our girlfriend, which wasn’t a lie. I wanted to have a home so I could bore the entire family with our pompous attitude.
