It’s strange sometimes how things work.
I remember not too long ago, I was thinking about a crush I had back in high school.
This girl was amazing. She was popular and I think that everybody loved her. She was really nice to me back then too but we never could be anything more than friends. Ever since high school though, I never talked to her again. As a matter of fact, I decided to get into a trade school to achieve my HVAC certification and I was sure she probably went to some fancy college. Well, I had been working at this reputable HVAC company for a few years and it was weird when I started thinking about my old crush, just wondering what she was doing and if she was married with children. Then I got a call to repair the broken down HVAC system at this family restaurant. When I went there to speak to the owner, I was shocked because I recognized it was my old crush from back in high school! She was looking better than ever and when she recognized me too, I think my face must have turned red. We got to talking and she asked me how come I never kept in touch with her. I really couldn’t answer that but I asked her if she was married, and surprisingly she wasn’t. She wasn’t even dating anybody, nor was I. She told me that we should go out for a drink sometime after I fixed the HVAC system in her family restaurant. I really loved the place and complimented her on running such a fine establishment. When we eventually went out for drinks, we actually hit it off.
