We had been practicing the skit for weeks. We would then present it to an audience after two weeks. We worked hard on the skit. It was about social issues that we all struggle with or have experienced. After weeks of practicing, we took a few days off just to be in a good zen mood before the final presentation. The hotel we visited had amazing cooling systems from the high-quality comfort within the premises. We had a good time and also had time to relax. On the big day, we were nervous but in control. We started acting and dramatizing our play. When the sound technician was supposed to cue the middle of the skit, the sound system failed but the electric heat pump stepped in by making a loud rumbling noise. The audience thought it was all part of the skit but we knew better. Later we learned that the cooling equipment had been straining to function and it happened to emit the noise. We contacted the HVAC business for cooling technicians to run repairs on the unit. The HVAC contractor asked us a series of questions concerning the unit including when the HVAC installation was done. This was to determine the type of cooling technology used. The management of the building had not kept up with quality AC service as advised by the cooling specialist from the cooling corporation. We also had the climate control device upgraded to a wifi thermostat. To further help with indoor comfort, the professionals provided a service manual from the local service provider. It was a good thing the HVAC system stalled as it saved our skit.
