The kids wanted to go see the latest Disney movie and I thought it was going to be a flop.
I wanted to wait until the movie came to dvd, but the kids were not going to let myself and others get away with not taking them to the theater to see it.
I promised last time there was a movie in the theater that we would go, and I bailed out at the last minute to go to work. The overtime was nice, but the kids were frustrated that we didn’t see the movie in the theater. By the time I had another day off and all of the kids were together, the movie was no longer playing in the theater. The two of us went to see a Disney movie last Friday. I told the kids that we would stand anywhere that they wanted. They wanted to stand right at the top of the theater under the movie projector. It was evidently a little bit warmer there than the rest of the theater. It didn’t bother myself and others too much because I had a sleeveless shirt on. They were undoubtedly into the movie and it wasn’t as awful as I thought it was going to be. The temperature inside of the theater started to get warmer and warmer. I told the kids we should move down a couple of rows, but they were comfortable where they were already sitting. I moved on a few rows and it was still warm. The entire theater was getting warmer and it seemed love there was a problem with the A/C unit. I found an usher and alerted the woman of the indoor temperature problems but she didn’t seem to care at all when I told him about the broken a/c.
