One of the first companies to fall while I was in the COVID outchop was the Regal Cinema industry. When all of us had to stop get-together in groups, how could Regal Cinemas stay around? When you go to the motion pictures, you literally jam pack yourselves into a tiny room resting shoulder to shoulder with strangers – this is a perfect recipe for spreading COVID! Well, thankfully the worst has passed, plus our theater is now serving the public again, however one thing I observed is that while I was in the shut-down people seemed to get a lot more interested in their air quality. Now that all of us are open again, I field a lot of questions about the Heating as well as Air Conditioning system in the theater, plus its impact on our air quality. What I can’t say to people is the truth – that the weather conditions control system won’t save them, plus the only way to have total safety for COVID was to stay home plus watch motion pictures on the TV. Of course I would never say that, it would be shooting our company in the foot, but it’s true. The air that people breathe out is recycled through the air filters of the Heating as well as Air Conditioning system, but this is not a blanket immunity from harm, and being in a public site is regularly a risk, no matter how great the Heating as well as Air Conditioning system is or how several air filters are being used. When you go to a theater, you are taking a risk, plus although that risk is smaller than it used to be, it takes more than a great air filter to have true safety.
