When I called for A/C repairs, I never expected them to take our air conditioning component away when the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman left.
- He said he had to take the A/C component back to the shop to repair it.
Before I could ask when I would get it back, he had gone. I had no paperwork that showed the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman had been there, or what was wrong was that the A/C component had been removed. I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business and told them about our A/C component and said I had some questions. Before I could say anything more, the dispatcher asked me who had taken the A/C component with them. I had the first name of the serviceman, however that was it. She explained they had not yet dispatched someone to our house. They knew nothing about someone coming to make repairs and taking the A/C component with them. Never have they taken any section of an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C plan back to the shop for repairs, unless it was warrantied and needed to be upgraded. I was sad that someone had just stolen our A/C component and I would need to go without A/C because I couldn’t afford a modern unit. A modern voice came on the and introduced himself as the owner of the corporation. Since I had an extended warranty and had the A/C component insured with our homeowner’s insurance, they were going to bring a modern A/C component to the home and install it. It would take a morning or several, but I would have a modern A/C component by the end of the week.All I had to do was call the police and make a report.
