The air in our office building always felt heavy and smelled damp, due to the spread of Covid-19, it was no longer a need in order to work from the office every day of the month as long as you showed up on Fridays for the daily meetings, then i found that every time I went to the office, my dust irritations flared up and this downsidely affected my entire day.
Imagine 8 hours of nursing a headache, congested nose, teary esure, and sneezing every 3 seconds, turns out the parts of one of the new Heating & A/C systems that had been installed 2 years ago were malfunctioning. The building manager was always up-to-date with the Heating & A/C service. During one of the last air conditioning service services, the air conditioning specialist discovered that some of the heating and cooling equipment wasn’t working at an optimal level. The quality of air was low because of the dirty washable filters and the UV air purifier was doing very little in removing all the dangerous particles in the office building. This was the main cause of my dust irritations, the circulating air was just not clean! The two of us opted for a disposable filter, provided by the air conditioning dealer, which was better at trapping smaller particles. The specialists also did a thorough air duct cleaning that made sure that the quality A/C was functioning well. The dirty air vents were screwing around with the performance of the hot water boiler causing the wireless control unit to malfunction showing wrong studyings. I wondered to myself why the building manager did not opt for a propane boiler or an oil oil furnace as the filter used in these oil furnaces needed to be replaced often to maintain the quality of air; Once the service was over, my dust irritations seemed to almost right away stop and I could now prefer my Fridays.
