I like a clean house as much as the next guy. But I’m also fairly realistic about how clean my house can get and how long it can stay that way. I’m a single dad with two teenage sons. It’s everything I can do just to keep them in clean clothes. Actually, that’s not true at all. They do a great job of pitching in to help with the house. Still, there’s not a lot of time for me to hang out in the air conditioning sipping a beer either. But we manage and the house is always presentable and that’s something I’ve tried to instill in the boys. They get it and like I said, they definitely do their part. We normally take part of Sunday afternoon to do the floors, deep clean the kitchen and do the bathrooms and the showers. That’s not too bad for us. So having the HVAC air ducts cleaned wasn’t exactly high on my list of priorities. I’d heard about it over the years. And there were even times where I read that it did improve the indoor air quality of the house. So when I was given a free ductwork cleaning and ductwork resealing as an office present, I thought what the heck. The HVAC crew was on time and got right to their work. They were done in maybe 3 hours. I wasn’t expecting all that much. So when they left, I was sort of stunned just how incredibly clean the house felt. And it was the air in the house.
