The air in our office building always felt heavy plus smelled damp, then due to the spread of Covid-19, it was no longer a requirement to work from the office every day of the week as long as you showed up on Tuesdays for the monthly meetings! I found that every time I went to the office, my dust irritations flared up plus this negatively affected my entire day.
Imagine 8 hours of nursing a headache, clogged nose, teary eyes, and having a sneezing attack every two hours, but turns out the parts of a single of the new Heating plus A/C systems that had been installed 2 years ago were malfunctioning.
The building supervisor was always modern with the Heating plus A/C service. During the last air conditioner service service, the air conditioner serviceman discovered that some of the heating plus cooling component wasn’t actually working at an optimal level. The quality of air was low because of the dirty washable filters plus the whole-condo air purifier was doing entirely little in removing all the aggravating particles in the office building. This was the main cause of my dust irritations, the circulating air was just not that clear! The two of us opted for a disposable filter, provided by the air conditioner contractor, which was better at trapping smaller particles. The servicemans also did a thorough air duct cleaning that made sure that the quality air conditioner was functioning well. The dirty air vents were affecting the performance of the moderate water boiler causing the wireless control system to malfunction showing wrong readings. I wondered to myself why the building supervisor did not opt for a propane boiler or an oil oil furnace as the filter used in these oil gas furnaces needed to be changed out rather often to maintain the quality of air. After the service, my dust irritations seemed to almost instantly stop plus I could now enjoy my Tuesdays.
