It took the threat of super high heating costs to finally get me off my couch plus into preparing the house for winter.

Both of us have had some wicked drafts in this house that consistently robbed us of Heating plus Air Conditioning heating. And what do you do when you’re being robbed of heating? You turn up the thermostat for more. So when I started reading about the actually high cost of heating this winter, it got me busy. Along with having the Heating plus Air Conditioning worker come out for the heating repair, I got busy sealing up our lake house as narrow as I could get it. A big point of emphasis for me was the entrances. I replaced all the weather stripping along with the storm doors. I also found the source of those drafts in a pair of windows that needed to be properly insulated. So far, my efforts are actually paying off. Even with the rise in Heating plus Air Conditioning heating costs, our energy bills have been much lower than past years.
