At my job at the local newspaper, we sometimes have the nice treat of a genuinely luxurious lunch meeting once a month! All of us have a nice meal, discuss our plans for the upcoming weeks plus just have a good time; and not to mention, it is all on the clock as well! So we genuinely get paid for having a nice meal plus just talking business! However, the last time we had a single of these I ended up being late for the contractor lunch due to a personal issue at home… My central heating plus a/c had broken down plus I was stuck waiting for the local heating plus cooling corporation to send out a certified heating plus specialist to service the HVAC unit.
Then I had to call the boss at my job plus let him know; although he was not cheerful about this, he was entirely kind plus understood our situation that I was in. Finally, the heating plus specialist had shown up plus began working on our central heating plus unit, then the complication with the heating plus cooling system was worse than I thought. They needed to swap out the motor. The HVAC specialist did not have a single of these on his truck, so he had to go back to the heating plus corporation to get a single one of these. I told him to just update the motor plus enter the backyard on his own when he gets back as I had to get to the contractor supper! I was about 15 mins late in the end, but it all worked out for me.
