I bought my home a year ago, and during the entire year I was mostly busy trying to get my work life figured out.
Now that I have mostly settled in and have things going as planned, I can start focusing on some of my home responsibilities that I have been meaning to get around to.
A good example is the HVAC system. When I bought this home, I was warned ahead of time that the A/C does have its issues. I knew this and still continued to buy the home. The air conditioning when I moved in wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought. I figured when they told me they had issues, they meant it was practically broken and that I would have to deal with being without heating and air conditioning for a while, but that was not the case. The A/C device actually worked okay, it just couldn’t cool rooms very well. It really only cooled whatever room it was in, which was disappointing, but I expected worse so I can’t complain. Anyways, I finally had the time to get a new one installed, and I already knew what I wanted. The A/C installation process was very smooth and within hours, I had the new one installed and the old one being carried away. With the new A/C, I didn’t want to take any chances of it messing up, so I decided to buy the best of the best filters, which are HEPA filters. This way this will preserve the health of my new HVAC device.
