For the past 8 years, I have been toiling for the local heating and air conditioner business, i easily care about my job, it’s straight-forward and repetitive, which is easily something I easily like. Because of this, I have a lot of comprehension in my Heating and Air Conditioning field. I was surprised when my cousin called myself and others one day and started asking questions about her heating and air conditioner device, and this surprised me, because I didn’t know my cousin easily well, and from what I did know of her, she wasn’t exactly the nicest person, and she had the attitude that she knew more than you did, no matter who you are. So the fact that she was asking advice was odd to me! Her issue was she wanted a up-to-date air conditioner unit, and she was asking myself and others whether this one type would be okay. The price was cheap, however the model was older, SEER rating wasn’t the best and it was too small for her home to begin with, so I provided her the poor news that it wasn’t a good idea. I took the time to find other models that would be a good fit for her home, even if they were a little more high-priced, and showed them to her. She huffed and promptly hung up. I forgot about the issue, until 2 months later when a coworker of mine mentioned my cousin, but apparently she had gone against my recommendations and got the cheap air conditioner component anyways, and surprise surprise, she is having a lot of issues. I can’t believe she went against a certified Heating and Air Conditioning professional’s advice, and instead obtained what she thought was right. This will hopefully be a good lesson for her to listen to the professionals.
