Growing up, my brother and I were very similar.
Even still to this day, we are still very similar.
Although a lot of siblings get into frequent fights, my brother and I have been best friends from the start. Not only are our interests very similar, but even when we were in high school and we were considering our future careers, our interests for future careers were the same. My brother and I were competitive and would compete with a lot of things, and so us having the same career probably wasn’t the best idea. One career choice both of us were considering for a while was being a HVAC technician. In the end, I decided to go and be a dance teacher, another hobby of mine. My brother on the other hand, went ahead and decided to go for a cooling professional. I was supportive all of the way, including when he went to HVAC university and I was incredibly proud when he graduated as a certified HVAC professional. I continued on with my career, and every now and then when we met up he would tell me what it is like being a cooling specialist. I’m glad to hear that it has worked out well for him, and he makes decent pay and is overall happy with his job, which not many people can say. I also take comfort knowing that if I did decide to become a HVAC worker, it would be a good career. My brother eventually wishes to be a HVAC business owner, and I wish him the best of luck with that.
