At my job every one of us sometimes has the nice treat of a honestly expensive company brunch once each and every month… The people I was with and I have a nice meal, discuss company plans for the upcoming weeks and just have a fantastic time; and not to mention, it is all on the clock as well! So every one of us actually gets paid for having a nice meal and just talking business! However, the last time every one of us had one of these I ended up being late for the company brunch due to a personal issue at home.
Sadly, my central heating and cooling system had broken down and I was stuck waiting for the local heating and cooling company to send out a certified heating and a/c specialist to service the HVAC unit; I called the boss at task and let him know, and although he was not glad about this, he was actually kind and understood my situation that I was in.
However finally, the heating and a/c specialist had shown up and began finally working on my central heating and a/c unit. The problem with the heating and cooling system was worse than I initially thought. They needed to replace the motor. The HVAC specialist did not have one of these on his truck, so he had to go back to the heating and a/c company to get it. I told him to just replace the motor and enter my backyard on his own when he gets back as I had to get to the company brunch! I was about 15 mins late, however it all worked out in the end.
