I do not like change in our environment, so when our spouse purchased a new control unit, a smart control unit to be exact, I had a feeling I wasn’t going to enjoy it.
Luckily for our spouse, he didn’t need to be a Heating, Ventilation plus A/C worker to install the new control unit, as well as he had it up within 20 minutes.
She had fun playing with the strange features as well as studying how to program it. Once he was done, I took a look at it myself. It didn’t look too bad, but a bit complicated. It was also a touch screen which is nice, but for me, the nice features ended there. Because not long after that, I would realize how much I do not like this new control unit. It happened when I was trying to turn on the furnace. The afternoon was unusually chilly as well as I was fiddling with the new control unit to turn on the heat because I was shivering. I kept tapping on the screen but nothing was happening, I was growing upset, as well as our spouse noticed our struggle. She showed myself and others that to turn the temperature up as well as down, you just rotate the control unit. I was still upset, but at least the oil furnace turned on as well as started warming the home. That wasn’t the only time I was sad with the new control unit, another time was when it refused to turn off the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C device, as well as our spouse informed myself and others it was not turning off because he had it programmed to run at this time. I honestly don’t enjoy this new control unit, I suppose our spouse does, but I miss the aged dial control unit, it was so much simpler.
