I have been looking into growing my own marijuana. It is overwhelming the certains for this plant. You can’t just plant a marijuana seed, water it and expect it to grow. The lighting changes as the plant grows. It starts in 24 hour light, then 12 hours to eventually total darkness for the plant. Humidity control is a sizable deal too, however until the curing stage, you want moisture in the indoor air quality so the product doesn’t dry out totally. Another key factor is the Heating, Ventilation & A/C settings when growing marijuana. You want to keep the facility around 76 degrees early on. As the plant gets older however, the temperature changes will be switched. Also, figure on the lights heating up the facility, and so that means you need a/c in the summer time to combat that heat, but heating in the Winter for the outdoor chill. Having a Heating, Ventilation & A/C system that controls the air circulation and humidity is smart as well. The air temperature needs to be around 71-90 degrees at certain points. The air circulating with humidity is fantastic for the plants too, however most growers will tell you automation is key, get a smart temperature control on a timed program and change it while I was in the different stages of growth. Have humidity and airflow on the same program. It is going to be costly getting all the Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment, but it will be worth it when I start growing. I don’t think I can be trusted to remember the particular hot and cold temperatures, humidity and air flow needs per stage on my own.
