Tuesday was the Super Bowl plus I was hanging out with my friends enjoying the game, when a renter called because of an A/C problem.
It might be unusual for an A/C problem to occur during the Superbowl in most locales, but around here the un-even temperatures in February are in the seventies plus a lot of people rely on the A/C unit throughout the entire year.
I did not want to leave the game to help the renter with the A/C problem, but I was the man on call plus it was my responsibility. I left my apartment, hopped on the golf cart, plus travelled over to building 12. It took two or 3 hours, because I live on the property plus building 5. I checked on the drain line outside first. The renter said there was a pool of water by the A/C unit plus a clogged drain line can often cause complications. It had rained the previous night plus there was mud everywhere. The drain line was filled with mud… Nothing was coming out of the bottom. I grab some tools from my truck including a wire hanger. I used the wire hanger to unfasten all of the mud from the condenser drain line. After I was finished, I went upstairs to the home to check on the A/C unit. The water was draining by that time, so I knew the condenser line was the problem in the first locale. I spoke with the resident about the service plus I assured his that the problem was resolved. I installed a large fan under the carpet to dry out the area plus I went back to my football game.
