My wife and I called the AC repair company to check on a problem with our system.
The AC was running, but none of the air coming out of the vents was cool.
My wife and I knew that we had a serious problem with the air conditioner and we called the repair company first thing in the morning. Later that afternoon we had our appointments and the technician evaluated our system and advised us to replace the entire AC unit. My wife and I were not expecting to hear the news so we got a second opinion. The next AC repair company agreed with the evaluation and recommended that we replace the unit as well. My wife and I scheduled the AC installation job for Tuesday. The AC installation team told us that it would take most of the day to install all of the pieces and parts. I didn’t think it would take that long and I thought they were cautious. I was terribly wrong and the entire installation job took almost twelve hours to complete. We spent all day without air conditioning and the temperature that day was 92 degrees. I can say for certain that I will never underestimate the HVAC company again. They were right about the unit being replaced and they were totally on point with the installation time schedule. I’m glad the company didn’t mind coming back to complete the installation even though we requested a second opinion. They even offered to match the quote if the second company gave me a better price on the same equipment.
