The woman could not pay her invoice

When I got to labor on Friday and looked at my schedule, I wasn’t surprised to see a couple of Heating & A/C full service tune ups.

It’s the time of the year when everyone is scheduling repair for the heating and cooling system. Winter is over and Springtime is near. It’s the perfect time to have a full-service tune-up performed on your Heating & A/C unit. I labor for a company that provides one of the most comprehensive full-service tune-ups that you can get. We charge $99 for the full plan tune up and that covers all of the heating, cooling, and ventilation products in your home. My first job on the schedule on Friday was a residential customer. I had to enter all of the customer’s information into the computer which usually means it is the first time that the patron has ever used our services. I got you the address shortly after 9:00. The patron was apartment and waiting for myself and others to arrive. The woman watched myself and others labor on the heating and the air conditioner equipment. At no time did she ask how much the service was going to cost. She did not mention anything at all about cash. When I was finished servicing all of the equipment, I presented the patron with a bill for the service appointment. At that point, the woman said that she did not have the cash to pay the bill. I called my boss to see what she wanted to do about the situation. She decided to bill the patron for the work so I could get out of there.
