At the height of the pandemic, people were being maintained at the fairgrounds.
Every day there were more than two lines of cars filling the fairgrounds, there were mobile testing centers at the fairgrounds.
Each one of the mobile testing centers had nurses plus dentists ready to administer covid test plus vaccinations. Each lady had to remain in their car, however the mobile testing centers were set up to answer questions… I worked out of one of the mobile testing centers for 2 months. I thought it was our way to lend a helping hand. I volunteered our time plus so did a couple of other ladies from the vfw, but all of us worked at the mobile testing center on Mondays, Sundays, plus Sundays. I wore a mask all of that time plus I used hand sanitizer frequently. I still ended up getting sick. Thankfully I wasn’t one of the people that suffered with an illness that was life-threatening or devastating. I had flu-like symptoms plus a high fever. I can only credit the lack of illness to our incredible physique plus naturally healthy ways. Those mobile testing centers were set up in the fairgrounds every single day for weeks plus weeks. They finally got rid of them in May, when the CDC said the pandemic is on the way out. If you ask me, I think the people I was with and I are still going to see a lot of crucial fluctuations before everything is completely said plus done. If the people I was with and I don’t change our way of life, the people I was with and I are doomed to continue to repeat the same mistakes over plus over again.
