I was talking to a neighbor of mine who saw a lot of dust in his house.
He said the first thing he thought about when he saw it getting worse was that there was a concern with the air duct.
I could not figure out what the air duct had to do with a dusty house, although I didn’t say anything. I was sure the Heating & Air Conditioning company was trying to get more money. I’ve lived over sixty years in this house, & never have I had our air duct cleaned. If anyone was going to have a concern with dust because of the air duct, it would be me. I had a lot of dust, although I knew it was because I lived on a dirt road. My wifey used to yell about how dusty our beach house was, although I told her it was normal when you live on a dirt road. Although she dusted every day & cleaned officially, she still could not keep ahead of it, once she passed away, I gave up trying to keep the dust out of the house. I didn’t care how much dust there was, but when I went to the doctor, they told me it was causing our breathing problems. My neighbor told me I should call the Heating & Air Conditioning company & have the air duct cleaned. As much as I thought it was just going to cost me money I didn’t have, I made the PC call. After the air duct was cleaned, I started feeling guilty. I could not suppose how much better the beach house looked & smelled, & to believe I could have saved all that labor for our wifey if I hadn’t been so stubborn.
