I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have asthma.
Asthma is as official to me as walking, & I do whatever I can to keep it in check.
I use our inhalers faithfully & take our allergy medicines without missing a dose. When the asthma acts up, I have a nebulizer to get our medicine directly into our lungs. I knew there was a concern with the Heating & Air Conditioning system when the asthma started acting up again. I called the Heating & Air Conditioning company & asked them to send some air duct cleaners to the house, & I also needed to have the oil furnace checked. I was sure that if there was enough dust in the air duct to enhance our asthma, there had to be a buildup in the oil furnace, too. I had done all our research many years ago when our asthma was getting undoubtedly bad again. The doctor talked to me about the importance of keeping the air duct cleaned & decreasing the air filters officially. This was now a part of our official routine in keeping the asthma at bay. I had become remiss with the air duct cleaning since every one of us didn’t do it every year. I believe it’s something we’re going to need to program for when every one of us have the air duct cleaned. We’ll need to make a tentative appointment every time the Heating & Air Conditioning contractor comes to the house! Not only is it pressing to keep the air duct scrub so I can continue breathing, although I suppose it is also better for the Heating & Air Conditioning system, dirty air duct can disrupt the airflow.
